NORWAY - THIRD EDITION

It's Thursday evening and we are now back in Kristiansund after two wonderful days spent in a hytte in the mountains near Oppdahl.  This modern cabin slept 16 and had two bathrooms - one with a shower and one with a tub.  It had a dishwasher and a satelite dish so we really weren't deprived on this "camping" trip.  I'll tell you more about it later but first I must catch up on my blogging.  I'll take you back to our arrival in Bergen and the two days spent there.
Lugging the luggage to our hotel

Our home for a night in Bergen

We were ready to take a taxi from the ferry terminal to our hotel, but the taxi driver said it was close enough for  us to walk to that's what we did.  He must have been wanting passengers taking a longer trip through the city.  It was just a few blocks and we made out fine, couldn't get into our room yet but they stored our bags and we were off exploring.
Our first view of Bryggen, an historic site on the waterfront
We decided to take the Floiboyn, an electric car that takes you up to a spectacular view of the city.
