After ten days in Norway, we arrived in Kristiansund, the home of Todd and Kristy. We were met at the airport by Canadian flags and hockey jerseys, then off we went to Mestergate 33 where we enjoyed a specialty of this area, bacalao. It is make with dried codfish known as klippfisk in a tomato sauce with potatoes and other vegetables. Kristy's version is much better than what I had in a restaurant here.

The service on Olsok (day of St. Olav's death in 1030 AD ) was held
in this 700 year old stave kirke beside the newer church

It consisted of many old buildings where traditional Norsk food
was being prepared and served today.

It was a fund raiser so prices are high but 1000 people came and bought
