| A great welcome home for these two travellers |
Just a quick update this morning from the Diekrager farm near Milestone. Sandra and I arrived at Regina Airport right on time at 6:00 on Wednesday evening after a wonderful sister trip. Here are Laurel's pictures of our home coming. We were gone for three weeks and enjoyed every day of this special holiday. Our trip from Copenhagen yesterday was the most challenging day, but all's well that ends well. Sandra has been the photographer and I am the blogger. When she emails the ones from our two days in Copenhagen I will finish reporting on this trip of a lifetime.
I am excited about this weekend as our family will be gathering at the Johnson farm for a mini reunion. Our plans are to visit Crosby, North Dakota on Saturday and come home for a BBQ and homemade ice cream. The annual service at Salem Lutheran Church is on Sunday morning at 10:30. Pack a picnic lunch and join us for this special service at this little country church six miles south and two miles west of Torquay.
My plans are to leave for home this morning with a stop in Weyburn for some groceries and in Torquay for the mail of the past three weeks. Dawson is coming with me and perhaps Ashley too. Stay tuned for more updates. I must be on Copenhagen time as I was awake at three and couldn't go back to sleep. Oh well, I'll catch up on sleep next week!
