Wed. Words, not many!

I just finished my annual report for our Trinity Ladies Aid and also sewed squares together in rows for another quilt top.  It's bedtime, but I mustn't disappoint anyone looking for Wednesday Words, and there's still an hour left of Wednesday!

Monday was another great day of quilting at Torquay.  Linda drove out with me for the day.  I also made a quick trip to the farm and to Ambrose for the mail.  Howard's new phone came so now I need to find pictures for the nine spaces in the preset squares.  He can just push a picture to dial that person so we hope it makes phoning less frustrating for him.

I enjoyed having supper guests on Monday evening - Jeff, Anna, Alex and Matthew.  Jeff stayed at the farm last spring for three months at the start of his job at Torquay port.  Now he and his family live here in Estevan.  It was great to have a visit, long overdue.

On Tuesday I spent the afternoon with Howard, put up some valentine decorations in his room.  That evening I had my hair cut by Leah at Platinum.  I took along my February copy of Good Housekeeping. On the cover it featured this article "4 Haircuts that take off years".  That sounded great for someone about to turn seventy!  I have very fine, straight hair and the article, called "Anti-Aging Haircuts", stated that "A bob works best with straight hair".  I've actually been growing my hair out in the hopes of having a bob.  It takes awhile after having my hair cut just above the ears.  So Leah has been working on getting my hair in a bob for the last few haircuts.  It's soon there.  I tried to add a picture but I had cropped the original, taken with iPhoto, and my blog won't accept it.  I'll add a picture in my next blog.

Today I was at St. Joe's to play for a hymn sing at 10:00.  Howard's right foot was bothering him, part of it was red and swollen so he had no shoe on it.  The Dr. prescribed antibiotics so hope that clears it up.  He had the same problem a few months ago and that did the trick.

This afternoon, Clare and our nephew, Jason stopped by on their way to a farm seminar in Bismarck, ND with John and Warren from Weyburn.  They'll be back late tomorrow night so Jason and Clare will spend the night here.  It's always fun to have company!

With that update, I'll say good-night!
