Tonight a Fellowship group of four couples is meeting here. They have supper at 6:30 followed by a presentation by the host couple. Todd is looking after that but part of it will be some hymns by the Johnson Quartette! Todd and Kristy are also doing a duet accompanied by his guitar.
Kristy and a friend had recovered the dining-room chairs awhile back. There was one left to do but not a piece of fabric big enough. I was able to match two pieces, Kristy borrowed a sewing machine and we got the sixth chair finished yesterday. It looks good! Now I should tackle the dining-room chairs at home! They still have the original seat coverings from the 40's - a burgundy leather. Howard's mother bought the oak set through Eatons with her egg money.
We watched another movie last night - "My Sister's Keeper". Lots of food for thought in that one. I've heard that the book has a different ending so I'll have to borrow Aunt Viola's copy when we get back.
Time to get to work in the kitchen!
