At our Erickson family reunion in July there were twenty-six children wearing red reunion tee shirts. These are the grandchildren of my brothers, my sister and me. Now the 27th has arrived, a new grandson for Sandra and Merle. Rhett Oscar Sanford was born in Swift Current to Jason and Marion. He weighed 9 lb. 15 oz. and is 21 1/2 inches long. Here are some pictures, thanks to Marion's Facebook. His second name is actually his great grandpa Sanford's name - Oscar Kenneth Sanford, although he was always known as Kenneth. Rhett was born at 7:30 a.m. on September 22 so he shares his birthday with our son, Clare.

We have Sunday worship service at 10:30 at Trinity today. My plans are to go to Estevan and take Howard out for a drive this afternoon. Perhaps I'll take him home overnight and show him the work done at Salem yesterday.
I'll have another blog ready for Monday, Todd and Kristy's eighth anniversary. Correction: Their anniversary is on Tuesday, but I do need to get the blog done on Monday!
