I am currently at Laurel and Greg's "convalescent home" recuperating from a bout of bladder infection. Food did not appeal to me, and I had no energy. One evening I made tea for Clare and was on my way to bed. I guess I looked very unsteady so Clare managed to catch me before I hit the floor. He insisted on taking me to the hospital in Weyburn and I spent two nights there. I was put on an antibiotic to fight the bladder infection and Clare took me back to the farm on Saturday. Laurel came down on Tuesday. I wasn't feeling much better but was able to see Dr. Katie that day so I went back with Laurel to Weyburn. The antibiotic was not working so I got a new prescription and went home with Laurel. That was a week ago yesterday. I have finished the new antibiotic and am eating again so hopefully I am on the mend. I want to have another urine test before I go back to the farm. They have had rain there so no harvesting this week.
Well, this is short but just wanted to give you an update and explain why I have not been blogging lately. I am being spoiled here with no cooking to do, or cleaning or housework. Why should I go back to the farm?
