HAPPY BIRTHDAY, SANDRA!

"Erickson" sisters, May 17, 2014
Sixty-two years ago on a Sunday afternoon, I received a special blessing - a baby sister, Sandra Helene Erickson, now Sanford. Although there are more than ten years between us, those years have since"disappeared".  She was a grandma before I was and now we each have eight grandchildren.  I have the youngest child and the youngest grandchild so that should keep me as young as my sister shouldn't it? Although we live 300 miles apart, we keep in close touch thanks to Sask Tel's "bundle" which allows us to talk any time with no limits.  I love you Sis and am so thankful to have you in my life.  You will have a busy birthday with helping to serve for the Claydon fall supper.  Wish I could be there!

I am feeling ready to go back to the farm.  Plans are to meet Clare in Weyburn tomorrow and go to the farm with him.  He was hoping to get back combining tomorrow but weather hasn't exactly been cooperating so that may not happen.

I have had a good stay at Laurel and Greg's, no worries about cooking, cleaning or other jobs.  I tried to make a batch of flatbread yesterday but could barely roll out half a batch before I had to quit. I guess I'm more out of condition than I realized!  I'll have to ease back into my usual jobs.

I had this ready to publish on Sunday but when I went to add a picture, I wasn't able to do that so I will publish as is and update when I get home.  Have a good week!
