Now, what have I been up to these past few days? I drove out to Torquay for the 10:30 service on Sunday morning and also stayed for the coffee fellowship afterwards in the auditorium. I must get the recipe for those yummy homemade "Oreo" cookies! Then I drove out to the farm to drop off the new garage door opener that I bought at Canadian Tire at a half price sale. The old one hasn't been working for a year or so. I've gotten used to having a door opener here in town so it was time to get ours working again. Michael will install it when he has time.
I had just put a bowl of turkey/vegetable soup in the microwave when there was Skype call from Todd and Kristy yesterday afternoon. They had enjoyed a three hour Skype session with Clare's, watching the Philadelphia Flyer game together. It had been a super exciting game, went into overtime with the Flyers winning with just 1 1/2 seconds left in the overtime period! Clare and Todd have been Flyer fans all their lives it seems, while Kirk sticks with the Boston Bruins.

I spend most afternoons visiting Howard and Aunt Viola. It's great to be able to take him outside these warm sunny days. Spring officially arrives tomorrow and it looks like it might be here on the early side this year. However, Alberta is getting some snow today so we might get another taste of winter before spring arrives to stay. Last year we had snow on April 30th!
Well, I'm going to Torquay for quilting today so I better sign off and get my two quilt tops pressed and make something for our potluck dinner. See you on Wednesday!
