I should venture out to town today although it will be a 36 mile trip instead of the usual 10 (my calculations on Facebook were a bit off). As far as I know the bridge south of Torquay is still closed so I will have to go 13 miles west on the gravel road just half a mile south of our farm. That will take me to the highway south of Oungre. I'll go 8 miles north to Oungre and then 15 miles east to Torquay. I have some banking to do, the mail to pick up and a Municipal Hail form to drop off at the RM office. I should do some visiting and really make the trip worthwhile. Here's a picture that shows the water over the road to Estevan. I guess it's possible to get to Estevan via the Rafferty road.

Here's an update on the bridge south of Torquay, taken this morning. We'll soon be able to walk across but it might be awhile before we can drive it.
