HAPPY ANNIVERSARY, MANDY AND RICK!

Mandy and Rick
December 1997

Thirteen years ago we were in Frontier on a very rainy Saturday for Mandy Sanford and Rick Peakman's wedding.  No outdoor pictures that day!  The photograper did get to Sandra and Merle's for family pictures so here's one from that day.

The Erickson cousins have a custom to have their picture taken together at family weddings.  I think Mandy and Rick's wedding was the only one where all eleven cousins were present.  Mandy also holds the perfect record for being at all the weddings!  Here they are at her wedding in order of age.

There are nine years between the oldest and youngest

Mandy and Rick lived in Saskatoon for several years, then relocated to Lacombe, Alberta.  They built a  new house there and now Mareena and Gavin have also built a new house, just across the street.  That's pretty handy for Grandma and Grandpa Sanford's visits!  It's also great for the cousins, who are best friends and all attend the same school in walking distance from their homes.

The two families do a lot of things together.  Mandy and Rick have recently joined the camping group and now spend long weekends in their trailer out in the bush in the Rocky Mountain House area.  We look forward to seeing them in the upcoming Erickson reunion at Cypress Park, just over two weeks away!

Mandy, Rick, Drew and Ty stopped by our farm in July of 2007, just in time to help us get ready for the Johnson Farm's 100th anniversary.  Here they are busy working on our house and yard.
Rick hard at work on our cedar log house.

Mandy is doing some landscaping for us.
Well, I could go on and on but I'll close with a recent picture along with best wishes for a Happy Anniversary, even though work keeps you apart on your special day.
