Well, I am still writing from Weyburn as the road report wasn't great yesterday. I don't know if it's much better today. It's snowing lightly here and likely drifting in the country. We'll get up to date reports before trying it. I might not get to quilting today but have a couple projects to work on here. I have a Charlie Brown quilt to finish up for Jodi and then Todd's T shirt quilt to put together. So I won't be bored waiting. The Jeffery's are due back tomorrow evening.
Congratulations to Todd who will doing a different job at Swire. He will go for training in Stavanger after they get back from their trip to Canada. His job will involve inspecting welds in the containers that go out to the oil platforms. It's interesting that the Jefferys have a daughter and her husband living in Stavanger so maybe Todd will have a chance to meet them.
Abbey had a busy weekend with dance competitions in Ogema on Sunday and dance pictures yesterday here in Weyburn. We took Clare, Jody and Abbey out for Brunch at Smitty's yesterday after service at Zion. It was snowing and blowing so we finished cleaning and packing but didn't go anywhere!
Clare just called and said that he plans to go to the farm on Wednesday so I think we'll plan on leaving that day too and spend Tuesday night with the Johnson's. Vi sent a message that she isn't going to quilting as the highway is very icy. They're planning a final quilting/clean-up day on Wednesday so I should make it down for that.
Well, I'm off to the nook to do some tying on Jodi's quilt. We'll keep in touch. Spring will be here one of these days. A year ago it was plus 17 so quite a contrast with icy roads and below zero temperatures today!
