We were hoping to celebrate with Ashley today, but instead we're planning to go to Milestone on Saturday. Eric has a hockey tournament there and Dawson has a game in Regina. If weather and roads permit, we'll take in Eric's 9:00 game, then Howard will go with Laurel and Dawson to Regina for a 2:00 game and I'll stay with Ashley at the farm for the rest of the day. We'll work in a DQ cake sometime and also celebrate Eric's 8th birthday which will be on the 8th
Ashley Laura was born on March 2, 2008 at Regina General Hospital. Laurel could hardly believe that she had a daughter! The Laura in her name is for Greg's grandma, Laura Goin. Ashley is our fourth granddaughter and Gaylene Diekrager's only granddaughter.

We will "visit" Ashley via Skype tomorrow. I'm sure Laurel will have a picture or two that I can add of the birthday girl so I'll update this later. Have a very Happy Birthday, Ashley. With lots of love from Grandma and Grandpa.
We are also be thinking of Kristy's Grandma Wanda who is also celebrating a birthday today in Lethbridge.
