Three cute Johnson girls with curls
It's Wednesday but I haven't been anywhere this week so what can I write about today? It's a good thing that the rest of my family have been out and about so I can tell you about them!

The other Johnson girl is getting ready to fly to Canada on Sunday! She has her passport, Mom and Dad are taking care of the packing (four suitcases plus Nolas' pram!) so she can't wait to meet her Farmor (that's me and it translates Father's mother) plus many aunties, uncles and cousins. We are getting very excited too!

| Not many passport pictures are as good as mine. (It did take a while to get this result though. My soother was pulled out and the picture was taken before I could cry again!) |
I just talked to Shauna's mom as she and Ralph are celebrating their 25th anniversary today. Ralph just got home yesterday after being in Regina and Estevan hospitals for six weeks. He suffered a fall, then had other complications followed by therapy for his broken leg. I'm sure he is glad to get home to Louise's good cooking. Happy Anniversary, Louise and Ralph.
I'm going to head downstairs to do some more "filing". That's been my job for the past few days. A few full garbage bags have gone to the burning barrel, a few to be sent to Souls Harbour in Regina, and some end up staying for a while longer!
I ground some red spring wheat and some durum so will get another four batches of flatbread mixed up and put in the deep freeze. I made a double batch of rolled out oatmeal cookies on Monday so that's a good start on Christmas baking. The adults like them with date filling, the kids like them plain so we'll have some of each.
A few minutes ago I sent an ecard to my cousin Doris (Moen) Murray in Coos Bay, Oregon. It's just been picked up so that beats "snail mail", especially when you leave sending a card until it's too late to go by regular mail. Happy 80th Birthday on Saturday, Doris. I know you are a faithful reader of my blog so I can greet you this way too!
Tomorrow I'm going to Estevan. I'm getting my hair cut at eleven and have some shopping to do after that, also a visit to St. Joseph's. The forecast is for -4º tomorrow so that's a treat after the cold and snow last weekend. Clare has a dozer blade on the front of the tractor so pushed snow away from the driveway. It's time I ventured out after a week at home. I could get to be a hermit! Enjoy the rest of the week. See you on Sunday, or Monday morning!
