HAPPY BIRTHDAY, MEGAN HELENE CONRAD!

It's easy to remember how old Megan is.  She was born in 2000 so her age coincides with the year.  She has a special second name, the same as her Grandma Sandra Helene (Erickson) Sanford and her great great grandmother, Bertha Helene Haaland.  As well, Megan was born on May 3, also the birthday of Mom's oldest sister, Camilla Helene (Haaland) Olson.  Megan, the daughter of Mareena and Gavin Conrad, was the first grandchild for Sandra and Merle making my much younger sister a grandmother before I was!  And now she is going to outdo me with grandchildren too.  We were tied at seven but now her eighth is on the way. Congratulations,  Jason and Marion!

As well as being the first granddaughter for Sandra and Merle, Megan is also the oldest of the thirteen great granddaughters in the Milford and Hulda Erickson family.   She has always seemed so grown up for her age, loves to visit with people of all ages.  She has two younger siblings and two young cousins across the street so has lots of experience in helping take care of "the little kids".  She enjoys playing the piano and takes part in Ringette in the winter.
