BACK TO SCHOOL

Finished the lentils out west
The flax on our east land will have to wait for fields to dry up after over 2 inches of rain on Saturday.  Estevan area had up to 5 inches so we are thankful we didn't get that much.  The ground was very dry so moisture is welcome, even when it delays harvest.

Last week I listed our twelve grandchildren and what grades they are now in at school.  Today I have "back to school" pictures of some of them.
Ashley in grade two

Eric grade 7, Dawson grade 9

Carter grade 9, Lindsay grade 6, Jamie grade 3

Abbey and Jody, both in grade 9
student and teacher!
I will add more pictures as they come in.  Today is a special day with three family birthdays for Nora 3, Abbey 14 and Ardis 75.  Alan and I plan to go to Weyburn this afternoon to have cupcakes with Abbey.  She is going to have supper with friends at Boston Pizza.  We are going to celebrate at Joey's Only, along with Clare and Jodi.  I will have a blog about the birthdays next week.  Shauna celebrates hers on Wednesday so it's a busy week of birthdays.
