Thursday was a busy day. I'm ready for bed but it's just 8:00! I guess I better stick it out a bit longer. The alarm went off at 5:30 as Clare was here overnight and wanted to leave with a load of grain by 6. I heated up soup for his thermos and filled his go-cup with mocha and he was off. After I was done at the library I went to Trinity and did the vacuuming and emptied the garbage. Then I was off to Estevan. First I washed the Escape, did some other errands and ended up at the Co-op for groceries. It was almost six when I got home so after the groceries were put away I had my supper and then played some Scrabble games. Now I need to finish this blog post!
There was good news on Facebook as Rhett was discharged from hospital today. It won't be easy having him at home either as he has to be kept quiet and indoors until more healing takes place. Katie has been in Moose Jaw with Marion's mom so they were picking her up first before heading for Frontier. This family of five will be very happy to be back home together again!
A year ago Laurel and I had just nicely gotten home after spending Easter with Todd, Kristy and Nora. It's a good thing we went then so Laurel got a chance to visit them in Kristiansund. After six visits to that city, I felt quite at home there and could find my way to my favourite stores, especially the second hand ones! I'm sure there will be some special places to discover in Førde too so I'm looking forward to a visit there in the future. It's not that far from Sogndal, where my greatgrandfather Peder Stenson was born in 1852.
Todd's birthday is next week so I'll feature him on the next blog post. It will be fun to see Nora on Facetime trying to sing Happy Birthday to Papa!
