A TEENAGER IN THE FAMILY!

Thirteen years ago today I became a Grandma with the arrival of Dawson David Diekrager to daughter Laurel and Greg of Milestone.  It didn't take us long to pack up and head for Regina to visit this new arrival at Regina General Hospital.  I am the eldest of four siblings but the last one to be a grandparent so this was the day that I had been waiting for!

Have a very Happy Birthday, Dawson. You won't have much time to celebrate today with school, then basketball practice followed by a hockey game in Radville this evening!  I'm hoping that we can meet in Weyburn on Sunday and share a meal at Boston Pizza before your hockey game there.  And special thanks for making me a grandma!  Only one grandchild can ever do that.  I'm so thankful for you and for the next seven grandchildren who have followed you.  With lots of love from Grandma Johnson.
