I went out for my walk this afternoon heading north of the farm towards the coulee. I decided to turn around and head south when I saw a skunk coming to meet me! When I got to the old school well south of the farm, another skunk appeared! So that was it for my walk, I turned around and went back home. I took some pictures when I turned in at the gate so I'll post some of them just so we'll remember the "spring" of 2013.

It was a beautiful afternoon - sunny with no wind and the temperature actually up to plus 1! We haven't seen many temperatures in the plus range yet but by next week that is supposed to change. But first of all we have to get through "Chance of snow" for this weekend.
I finally got out the slide convertor that I bought a month or two ago so I've been going through my slide collection from a few years back and putting some on the computer each day. I'll leave you with a couple favourites. Here's one for you, Todd.

The porkchops in the oven are smelling good so I better go and make the rest of my supper. I like to cook extra and freeze so I have meals ready for several days.
