A PICTURE POST

Our last family picture with Howard
March 2012
I have appreciated the pictures that were taken at our gatherings centred around Howard's passing.  I want to share some of them with you today.

Six of the fourteen youngsters who spent several days with us and got along so well.
There were thirty people in all, in three campers and our house.

The lovely meal that Michael worked most of the day to prepare for our Sunday night family gathering.
It's great to have a former chef as a house sitter!
Enjoying some of the bountiful food that caring family, friends and neighbours so generously gifted us with.
Precious times of sharing memories - Ardis and Laurel
Pictures of Howard shown on our computer
(the one on screen is with friends in Norway)
Display of pictures and items, memories of Howard

More precious memorabilia

Erickson siblings - Alan, Merv, Elaine, Sandra
(I'm so glad they were all able to be with us, along with all their children)

Erickson cousins, together for the first time in fourteen years
Clare, Todd, Devan Erickson, Laurel, Tanya Howell, Jason Sanford
Joan Markentin, Mareena Conrad, Mandy Peakman
Heather Rolfes, Kirk

Howard's nephews as pallbearers-
Kris Johnson, Devan Erickson, Jody Howell,
Gavin Conrad, Jason Sanford, Rick Peakman

His resting place, beside his sister Doris Yvonne Johnson
His casket, made in Melville, Saskatchewan
Ready to release the red helium filled balloons, Howard's favourite colour

Lindsay, with roses from the casket spray - red for his grandchildren,
pink for his children, white for Elaine and Ardis
