Our little guest, Ashley, is asleep so I will update my blog.
Laurel,Greg, Dawson, Eric and Ashley came for supper last night - baked ham, scalloped potatoes, red cabbage, broccoli, fresh buns. Then we watched the opening of the Olympics- were happy to see Wayne Gretzky light the flame.
We took part in the Fifty and Over club shuffleboard tournament this morning. Ashley loved it there, didn't want to go home! She watched the shuffleboard close up, clapping and yaying as the rocks made their way down. We had soup, egg salad sandwiches and strawberry shortcake for dessert. Yum!
Laurel emailed from Minot- it's snowing there. She's off to the mall after lunch and a swim. I'm glad Ashley is here so Laurel can have a holiday too. She's free to shop to her heart's content while Greg and the boys spend time at the hotel.
Time to sew some rows of quilt blocks together before Ashley wakes up!
