I phone Sholter and Horsman to see about repairs but that could come to $400 or so, depending on the problem. It really doesn't make sense to spend that on a 16 year old maching. Now I'm checking into front loading ones. Shauna will get back to me on Monday about the fellow who buys machines at auctions and resells them. I rinsed the clothes in the tub, hung some outside on a rack to freeze dry and will finish them in the dryer.
It wasn't all blue - our flights to Norway and our Mediterranean cruise are booked, thanks to Kristy! Now to decide what to take along. I'll have to pare down this time as we tend to take too much. Kristy wants syrup - Aunt Jemima and maple.
We have recovered from having all 7 grandkids here last week! Thanks to Laurel for helping out. We enjoyed having Ashley all to ourselves for three days. She ended up with a cold, didn't have much appetite but at least she didn't have a fever with her cough.
Carl took Dawson and Carter to the shop and they did construction work, made sort of a fort. They took it downstairs, decorated it with names and are quite proud of their work. Carl also gave them rides on his big white dog, Sully. I missed seeing that as I was uptown for a World Day of Prayer planning meeting.
Olympics are still on. USA stunned Canada last night when they won the hockey game!! They still have a good chance in curling, both men and women.
Must get some work done before supper so this is it for today.
