Alan and I celebrated Fathers Day for two days! On Saturday we drove to Weyburn, had supper at Joeys Only and then went to a ball game between the Weyburn Beavers and Melville Millionaires. These teams are members of the Western Major Baseball League. The game started at 7:00 and the Beavers won 16 -13! We left at the end of the 7th as our backs were sore from sitting on bleachers with no backrests! Next time we'll bring chairs.
Today I made him his favourite pie - Flapper. Here he is just before cutting into it!
I also went up to Salem Cemetery to water the plants by the church. I put a new flag on Howard's grave as well as a hummingbird solar light. It was such a beautiful evening, no wind and such a nice fresh smell after 2/10 of an inch of rain earlier today. There were a few mosquitoes out though!
Todd, Kristy and Nora are "homeless" for three weeks while they await July 2, when they can take possession of their "new" house in Førde. They spent a week in Mallorca, an island in the Mediterranean just off the coast of spain. They are enjoying the very warm temperatures

It's time to bring this to a close. Today I give thanks for all the fathers in my life - my husband Alan, sons Clare, Kirk, Todd, son-in-law Greg, stepson Derek, brothers Merv and Alan, brother-in-law Merle plus nephews, other family, friends and our Pastor Danny.
