COMPANY

The highlight of the week was Alan's arrival on Thursday instead of Saturday as he had originally planned.  Snow was in the forecast for Edmonton area so he got on the road early Thursday morning and was here just after five o'clock so made it before dark.

Today was our annual meeting at Trinity followed by a potluck dinner.  Plans were made to celebrate our 100th anniversary on June 28 with a special afternoon service but no morning worship.  We will have a catered meal following the service.  Mark the date on your calendars!

Alan and I drove to Weyburn this afternoon to take in Eric's hockey game.  He scored a goal and had two penalties in their defeat of the Weyburn team.  Then we joined Laurel's and Clare's at Boston Pizza for an early birthday supper.  Kirk's had conflicts today so we are meeting them in Estevan for supper tomorrow night.  Lucky me, I get to celebrate for three days!

On Tuesday I drove to Lampman after quilting and spent the night at Kirk's.  We enjoyed watching some home videos and part of the Patriot's win from the Sunday before. (Thanks for treating Ruby to a car wash and wax for me, Kirk.) Carter is back skating and hoped to ref some hockey this weekend.  He is wearing a brace on his leg with the damaged tendons but the bone was not cracked.

On Wednesday morning I went to Michelle Johnson's and was pampered with a manicure and pedicure thanks to the gift certificate from the grandchildren for Christmas.  I thought it was a good time to use it with my birthday and Valentines Day this week.  I was bold and went with red!

Abbey had another busy weekend playing basketball in a tournament in Swift Current.  Here are two pictures of her and the team.  Congratulations on winning all three games!

Jason, Marion, Blaine, Katie and Rhett came from Frontier to watch some basketball. Here they are with Abbey and Clare.

Well that's about all the news for this week.  I'll update you again next Sunday.  Have a great week and Happy Valentine's Day!
