Ray put up Christmas lights before they left for Arizona but I have yet to turn them on. Tonight is the night! I'll end this blog when it is dark so that I can show you a picture.
On Friday I drove to Lampman after visiting with Howard in the afternoon. Lindsay and Jamie have dance lessons on Fridays and Carter was off playing at a friend's house until supper time. We watched a movie on the Family channel at seven and enjoyed a bowl of microwave popcorn with it. The living-room had been rearranged to make room for the large Christmas tree in front of the window. All three were busy making their wish lists to place under the tree. Kirk and Shauna were off to a Christmas party in town so I spent the night. I felt quite at home in the bed in the office downstairs.
After a hearty brunch, I was off to Estevan in the morning. Kirk's left for Carlyle for Carter's hockey game at 1:00. I was invited to go along but declined as I didn't want to miss the annual Northwest/Southeast Chorus' presentation of Christmas music at Trinity, Estevan at seven and I wanted to spend some time with Howard before the program.
We have wintery weather again with a white world awaiting us this morning and no sunrise picture today. Here's a view from the patio door. The sun is trying to shine this afternoon, as you can see by the shadows on the deck.

"Alleluia, Christ is Born" was the title for last night's annual celebration of Christmas music presented by the NW Chorus and Orchestra and SE Chorus at Trinity Lutheran, Estevan. There was a capacity crowd that enjoyed songs by this joint choir from the US and Canada, it's 41st annual concert. The familiar Christmas carols are always a crowd favourite. There were 56 members of the choir as listed in the program. Phyllis and Bob came over to the house afterwards so that was a fitting end to the day.
