It's a wintery Wednesday with a white landscape after a couple inches of snow fell on Monday night. There are a few snowflakes falling as I type and more is forecast for tomorrow. Welcome to winter! I got the snow shovel out yesterday morning and cleaned off the driveway before I headed up to St. Joseph's. I'm glad I'm driving the Escape and not the car!
I'm awaiting a special guest this morning. Jamie is coming to spend the morning with me while Kirk has a dental appointment and also visits Howard. I have a batch of ginger cookies ready to bake when she gets here. I'll make the dough into balls and she'll roll them in sugar.
Tomorrow morning I'll play the piano for the weekly service at St. Joe's Special Care Home at 11 o'clock. Then I'll head for the farm to finish getting it ready for Michael to move in on Friday. I'm hoping there's not too much snow as I'm kind of a "fair weather driver". Clare plans to come down and do some work in the shop. I better get a list made of a few items that I still want to take with me to the city.
Tonight I have plans to attend the monthly Christian Women's gathering at the Wicklow Centre. A ladies quartette from Trinity, Estevan will be singing. Pampered Chef will be a feature of the evening.
There's a treadmill downstairs so I tried that out yesterday and want to make that a daily routine, gradually adding more minutes at a little faster pace.
Well, Jamie has arrived so I'll publish this post and perhaps add more later.
