I was at the farm on Thursday and came back on Friday afternoon. Michael, our house-sitter, came out on Thursday and had a tour or the house. He told me to make a list of any repairs/renovations that I want done so I showed him a few things that he can get started on in his "spare time" between other jobs in the area. He said that he has nine jobs lined up. Couldn't get a better house-sitter than one who doesn't just "sit" but will do home improvement jobs on the side! It's just what we needed.
On Saturday Kirk and Shauna brought Lindsay and Jamie to stay overnight. Lindsay loves to do nails so Grandma is sporting "crackle fingernail polish". I must show you a picture!

Kirk, Shauna and Carter joined us for Sunday brunch. Carter was too tired to eat as he had a sleepover at a friend's house that didn't include much sleep! I went shopping with Shauna and picked up a cartridge for my printer at Staples. Shauna needed a new printer and got a real buy, paid less for the printer than I did for the XL ink cartridge that I bought.
Soon it was time to take in Dawson's hockey game at the Estevan Civic Centre. He was thrilled to have all six of his cousins, two aunties, two uncles, his dad and a grandma there to watch him play. I'm sure he had the biggest fan club there! He was invited to play with the Milestone Pee Wee (a correction from this morning when I had Bantam) team as they were short handed. This was his first game of contact hockey. They lost the game but he worked hard and is looking forward to playing with this team tonight in Regina. Laurel and Ashley stayed behind as Eric had a final game in the Milestone tournament. It's hard to keep track of Eric's goals. He played five games on the weekend with a total of 22 goals. I'm glad that I haven't promised him a loonie a goal!
I visited Howard after the game, then gave Abbey a tour of the house as this was her first visit. She tried out the organ by playing "Happy Birthday" on the pedals.
This afternoon I am going out to Torquay as our Faith Circle meets at Narrie Lowe's at 1:30. So I better get off the computer and get ready for that. Have a great week!
