On Friday morning Alan and I went with Clare to a tour of the DEEP geothermal project that is underway south-east of Torquay, and which happens to be on a quarter of land that Clare owns! Twenty-five people were invited guests. We donned helmets and were given tours of the drilling rig on site. It was a perfect day, albeit a bit muddy, but the sun was shining with just a light breeze. There were people there from Calgary, Regina, Ottawa, Estevan, Weyburn, Torquay and area. Following the tour, we were treated to lunch in one of the trailers onsite.
